Preface

Three centuries had passed since the time of troubles, when the Antitechs destroyed every trace of technology they could find. Joen didn't know hunting was forbidden on the long dormant volcano until the priests reverently tossed him off the rim for angering the god that lived inside. Hubert, the last self-aware "metal-man" on the planet, was left behind in the great exodus. He'd spent the last three centuries hidden inside the old volcano, trying to build a ship to escape the now primitive Earth. As our story opens, Hubert's ship is finished except for one last major problem - and the young man who just dropped in might be able to help him solve it. That is until Arial accidentally joins their little band and distracts his attention...
