Most of those around the world who "hate" us don't have any idea who or what they're "hating".

Its popular to beat up on America for the mistakes, failings, and outright incompetent bungling of the CIA and other extralegal agencies of our government. The media is full of claims that the meddling of these agencies, in the name of the citizens of American, is the root source of the hatred of America around the world.

The last thing I would want to do is condone in any way those actions of our government that were not specifically intended to promote individual freedoms, and the principle of limited government, around the world. However, the claim that crimes by the CIA and other agencies provide a valid justification for attacks on America ignores the fact even at its worst, America has done far less harm to those who now claim to hate us than their own governments and societies, or the Sino-Soviet/Arab Islamic/African Despot anti-freedom countries - who are not the subjects of public displays of virulent irrational hatred.

America is used as a convenient bogeyman by repressive cultures around the world as a way to distract the attention of their subject populations away from the offenses being committed against them by their own governments. The "America" these manipulated victims are taught to hate is an obscene caricature of the real America. But after years of intensive indoctrination and 24/7 reinforcement from every direction, the perception of America as "the great Satan" becomes so deeply burned into their minds that their irrational hatred of this cartoon America can even survive years of actually living in real America.

Hate is being used as a weapon by those whose hold on artificial power and status is threatened by the real power of our freedom and modern high-tech civilization. Irrational hatreds are transformed into the externally assignable guilt of those accused of causing the hatred - attempting to turn the contrived self-serving reaction of the self-defined "victim" into the definition of the original action. We've seen increasing use of this weapon in America by privileged/protected minorities as a way to extort ever more undeserved/unearned wealth and privilege from the productive sector.

The "hate weapon" is intended to attack us on a number of levels - seeking to use the manipulated followers of the hatemongers to, in turn, manipulate Americans into turning our own best aspects against ourselves. For example, the hatemongers put particular effort into training children as human weapons. We value our children, and find the very idea of turning our children into expendable tools of terror so repellent that we are reluctant to either defend ourselves against the child-weapons of our enemies, or respond effectively even when the threat is undeniable. We automatically assume that any dead child at the scene of an atrocity must somehow be an innocent victim, not the active agent of malevolent evil. We automatically try to blame the victims of killer-children since the thought of concealing violent evil within the cherubic innocence of a child's body is repellent to our civilized minds. We think women and children should be protected, not shot on sight as the logical response to the "kill or be killed" rules of engagement imposed by an aggressive enemy.

The overwhelming majority of the "hatred of America" around the world has little or nothing to do with reality, and is solely an intentionally created means of distracting and controlling oppressed populations. The real hatemongers in this world respect only raw coercive violence, and have only contempt for our concept of civilization. That's why those who seek the destruction of free America find it so easy to engage in tactics that violate a freeman's very concept of what it means to be a human being.

We shouldn't be worrying about things we may have done to justify this irrational hatred, but rather focusing our "most effective attention" on those who have employed hatred of America as a means of manipulating their subject populations.

The real hate in this world should be reserved for those who force us to kill in self-defense the tragically damaged child-weapons these evil hatemongers have fatally corrupted.
